Do you even know what a distressed property is??? It’s a home that is in a short sale status-your home is on the market, and it’s worth less than what you owe the bank, thus coming up “short” at closing. So you’ll have to bring money to the closing to pay the bank balance.   

The other distressed property category is a bank foreclosure. The homeowner misses several mortgage payments, and the bank takes ownership of the home. In many cases, the bank gives the listing of that home to an agent that has no idea of  how to properly market the home,  facilitate the  potential offers on the home. HIRE A PROFESSIONAL.
